Fouzia is a widow in Karachi. She works at a school and earns $30 a month. She has Hepatitis B and heart disease.
Every day, Fouzia cooks over a wood fire in her home. The smoke makes her cough. It makes her heart work harder and hurt. Her illness gets worse from the smoke.
This project gives Fouzia a solar-powered fan, a battery, and a gas cylinder for cooking. No more wood fire. No more smoke in her home. She can breathe clean air and rest.
The total cost is $100. That is more than three months of her pay. She cannot afford it. But with your help, Fouzia gets clean air and better health.
This is a zakaat-eligible project. When you donate, Fouzia can cook without smoke. Her heart gets relief. She can work and live without pain.
